Methodology
HealthAratus applies a structured, signal-based methodology to evaluate healthcare technology.
All signals must meet three criteria:
Verifiable
Signals must be traceable to primary sources such as regulatory databases, clinical publications, hospital announcements, or direct usage data.
Attributable
Every signal must be linked to a specific tool.
Time-based
Signals are tracked longitudinally to measure change over time.
Signals are weighted based on source reliability.
- Evidence — clinical studies, peer-reviewed research and regulatory approvals carry the highest weight.
- Deployment — recorded, real-world use across distinct healthcare organisations.
- User Experience — independent observations from the people using the technology in practice.
- Innovation — the pace and direction of real product change.
Duplicate, unverified, or low-confidence signals are excluded.
The system prioritizes accuracy, consistency, and longitudinal tracking over volume.
